Location and Studio Sessions
Listening to my subjects - be they humans or animals - allows me to go above and beyond expectations with every project, framing images that are unexpected and deeply personal.
I take an organic approach to capturing stunning photographs for actors, business professionals and families, using natural light and the gorgeous colors and textures provided by nature.
I also specialize in companion animal portraits with a focus on horses.
My work as a professional photographer started in 2013, when I had the opportunity to leave my job as an interactive media executive to be an artist. I had the good fortune to be introduced to one of Thoroughbred horse racing's top trainers - Art Sherman - and for three years served as team photographer for Sherman Racings Stables and their star trainee, champion California Chrome.
In the quiet time between big races, I honed my skills as a head shot and portrait photographer and have provided everything from sponsored head shot booths at large conferences, to family portraits and keepsake photographs of beloved family pets.
I refer to my style as "stealth" photography. I love catching that moment when others are not watching. Providing my clients with beautiful images that freeze a moment in time for them to cherish for a lifetime is why I do this work.
Photographs are like a time machine - when you look at them you are instantly transported to the time, place and emotions you were experiencing when they were taken.
I operate a studio in Lexington, Kentucky, and I shoot in the gorgeous outdoor locations supplied by the Bluegrass. I'm professionally trained and insured.
